We’ll visit your home or business to measure the windows, show you samples and allow you to be hands on with our shutter, shade, and blind options, and leave you a price.

No need to wait all day for your designer to arrive! You’ll be given a one hour window for your designer to arrive to your free design consultation, and have their cell phone number in case of any questions or changes before your appointment.

Here’s What to Expect at Your Free In-Home Design Consultation

First, the designer will professionally measure all your windows.

Next, they’ll discuss your vision and see what window coverings you are interested in. They are available to answer any questions and will also have samples available to show you at your free design consultation. If you’re looking at shades they have over 300 fabric options to choose from.

Finally, they’ll leave you a price. No hidden fees, no additional charges, just your out-the-door price, inclusive of installation and taxes. If you’d like to confirm your order during your free design consultation, we accept Check, Zelle, and Credit Cards (Visa, MC, AmEx, Discover) to make your deposit.

Meet Our Designer & Owner: Richard

Starting in high school, Richard has always been a part of the window covering industry in Southern California. He has over 15 years experience with window coverings such as Plantation Shutters, Shades, and Blinds. Rich will take his time with you at your free in-home consultation to help you choose the best options for your home. He can make suggestions to fit your style and budget using his expertise. 

Rich started Cali Coast Shutters & Shades with his wife to bring affordable high-quality options to Orange County and the Surrounding area.

 

Professional Installation

Shades and blinds are installed by your designer. Working with the same person from consultation to installation makes for a smooth process where we can focus on providing the best customer service. 

Shutters installation is akin to the installation of custom cabinets for your windows and may be installed by your designer or a woodworker who specializes in shutter installation, depending on your order. Your designer is with you either way throughout the process and you have their direct number and email for any questions along the way.

Order Lead Time

Standard lead-time for shutters, from signed contract to installation is 5-9 weeks, however an install date or lead time is never guaranteed. To ensure expert craftmanship and only the highest quality material it is sometimes necessary to go over this lead time. We do not skimp on our materials or rush our process, as your shutters will be in your home for many years to come. It is a prime example of the term “worth the wait”, and we are happy to discuss temporary shade options to ensure your privacy and light reduction while you wait.

Standard lead-time for Blinds is usually 1-3 weeks from signed contract to installation, and for Shades it’s generally 2-4 weeks. While we can never guarantee a specific timeframe, these options are usually much quicker than shutters.
